All textile products listed in the 19 CFR 102.21(b)(5) must be labeled with the MID stemming from the name and address of the original manufacturer.
All entries that require a CBP Form 3461 and CBP Form 7501 to make an entry, must have the MID of the product.
If the importer does not provide the name and address of the manufacturer of the produced goods when these products are subjected to quota/visa admissibility issues, then these goods could get excluded.
If CBP determines that the MID is incorrect or that the MID is from a place that did not actually produce the goods, then the importer and broker will be faced with penalties.
